Golden Gate Bridge

The first time I drove the Golden Gate Bridge was in my pre-move visit, May 2000. It was a rainy morning when we arrived to San Francisco.I thought “This is not really the California weather I have always seen on the movies!“. I got the rental car and drove North Bay to Petaluma. That was the first time I saw and I crossed the Golden Gate. It was so foggy, I was barely able to see the bridge towers, they raised very high and deep inside the fog. It was excited, even though I was not able to see most of the bridge.

After that day I have seen the bridge with sun, rain, fog, more fog, … in so many ways, and all the time I get excited and in love with that red bridge, like the first day.
